Summary: A follow-up or missing scene for the first season episode: Mind War.  Talia receives a visit from someone unexpected, as she tries to deal with the aftermath of events surrounding Jason Ironheart's visit.
 
Author's notes: This is the product of re-watching Babylon 5 dvds.  It is essentially a missing scene for Mind War, and it may not make a great deal of sense, if you haven't seen the episode, or at least read a summary.  There should be at least one follow-up—a post-The 'War Prayer' missing scene—once I finish it, of course.  Also, I make no claims that my ideas about how telepathy might work are totally consistent with B5 canon (as opposed to wild-assed guesses on my part ;).
 
Thanks to ErinBree and to CheerfulOceanGazer for their invaluable help in beta'ing this piece.  Any remaining mistakes or missteps are entirely my own.  If you spot any, please feel free to let me know.

i've got a fic due to debut on Shatterstorm.net's Femslash Advent Calendar: the Dog Days of Summer this weekend.  mine debut's on the 14th, i believe.

just letting folks know that i'll be offline for ... awhile,  days, anyway.

a bad line of storms passed through Memphis late this afternoon, and it looks like a little mini-twister (or one in the process of forming) passed through my neighborhood.

i'm fine, my people and animals are all fine.  my home is undamaged, although my garage is trashed.  no big deal, since it was likely to fall down on it's own within a year or two, anyway :)

but the tree from the neighbor behind me clipped the utility pole on its way down. 

so, i've got no power, and possibly no phone, either, at my house.  my grandmother's house escaped damage and has power, so i'll be staying there, but there's no phone hooked up right now.

so, no getting online for me, for awhile, except at work, and i can't do much of that, there so...

but, we were very lucky.  my nephew and his son were at the house when it hit, but they are fine, and my great-nephew probably thought it was the coolest thing ever :)  and i didn't lose a thing i couldn't afford to lose, so it's all good.

i'll check in when i can.  take care, ya'll!

Just letting anyone who might care know that I spent some time updating my website this holiday weekend.  Most of the changes were structural, as adding a new section fro my Guiding Light fic made me realize I'd screwed up by not doing the nav-menu as a server-side include.  So, i wound up having to make minor changes to all the files and upload the .shtml files in place of the .html files

I did, however, add the latest Otalia story that I posted here last week, Anima v. Persona, to the new Guiding Light section.
